With over 100 years experience of fruit growing, fruit quality is at the foundation of our business. Apart from our growing and handling procedures being registered and audited by SQF International quality standards, our philosophy is to match our quality with our customer's requirements, whether that is the high standards of Supermarkets or the volume needs of Fruit processors.

We were one of the first orchards in the world to commercially grow fruit on the Tatura trellis system back in the early1980's. The system maximises light into the tree which results in optimum colour, size and flavour

Special attention is given to our Export & Supermarket varieties. With pears, (such as Packhams & Bosc) Apples, (such as Pink Lady and Granny Smith) and Stone fruit (such as yellow flesh and sub acid varieties) our focus is on optimising skin quality, size, colour & flavour.

With our cherries, maximising size and firmness is a priority. The cold chain is fundamental to cherry quality, therefore we hydro-cool our cherries and pay particular attention to the logistics chain between our customers and us.

What also underpins our long-term success is growing the best varieties. For example with stonefruit & cherries, varieties with maximum colour and flavour, must be combined with good shipping properties.

Improvement to our products and procedures is a constant.
